Consumables Charge

Lincolnshire County Council have increased the rates for all funding, however these rates are likely to be frozen until 2020, which means that the annual increases in Living Wage rates, food and general running costs for the Early Years Sector our setting will begin to charge parents for Consumables not covered by the Early Years and 2 Year Old Funding for 2, 3 and 4 year olds. This additional rate will be charged at £0.77 pence per hour.

The following consumables are included in the charges:

All craft supplies, including paint, glue, paper and embellishments; messy play resources; disposable gloves; tissues; toilet paper; hand cleaner; sun cream; washing products; Milton Fluid; first aid supplies; Learning Journey’s and their contents; diaries; Baking supplies and all food, to name but a few items.

This additional charge is not compulsory but access to supplies may be limited and no food would be provided, we would always provide water to the children.

We want to keep providing the same quality of service that we do now and this additional charge allows us to do so. You would be getting your Universal or Extended entitlement at a discounted rate whilst allowing us to provide the best experience to the children that we can.
