As part of Mediation Awareness Week 2016 we held our second The Sailor and the Oar event, ‘Far from the Taste of Salt’

This event subtitled ‘far from the taste of salt’ explored the concepts of leaving behind what you know and stepping into an uncertain future through the medium of stories and songs.

With content very relevant for the times that we are all currently living in, the theme resonated well with the audience.  We received very positive feedback about the event and about the value of using a creative medium to explore these challenging issues.

The uncertainty of the future is a theme that many people from the voluntary and charitable sector know well and finding courage to face and overcome challenges is a familiar call for us.  We thank everyone who attended and our sponsors.
